I'd bat Berry lead off and then AJ second. Berry is a better base stealer and AJ has more power.

I like keeping guys where they're most comfortable and have been hitting well. Berry is the low man of the 3, so I'd go back to AJ, Dirks (LH in front of Miggy) and speed is nice in the 9 hole, especially before another speed guy in AJ.

I'm just weary of moving a young guy who has raked this season, AJ, and move him around. And who says the most power has to be a 2 instead of a one?

I like Berry then Jackson one and two But I am OK with berry batting second or ninth until he cools off.. I like the extra range he brings and maybe him and Jackson can take some hits away in the outfield.. If BB can ever start hitting ninth would be perfect for Berry...

I kinda understand him at 9th....but i think id keep santiago/shitty catcher 9th to limit their ABs.

dirks 6th maybe to drive in some runs after DY swings and misses at a bunch of pitches. Berry 2nd i suppose.

No way Leyland bats Ajax 2nd. He likes to bat lefties in the 2 hole so that when the lead-off guy is on there is a big hole between 1st and 2nd. I would bet Berry bats 9th.

Boesch and Young managed to run into meatballs yesterday, it gives them another day of butchering outfield plays and largely swinging at garbage. Berry would likely be playing if we had a DH today.

I voted no, but want him on the bench for some starts and late inning defense, pinch hit for bunt or pinch runner.
Berry went on a 5 game tear after his call up, since then batting .244 .with slash numbers of .306/.378 /684
I get that most want him over both defensive liabilities in the corners, imo, Leyland won't do it.

I like Berry's speed and defense, but in a tiny ballpark, we need to play our mashers and try to capitalize.

Use him as a PH later and then sit either young or boesch for defense purposes.

Berry's 2 for 19 in his last 5 games for a .105 average now batting .288. I would have to say he has cooled off some. Still his speed and defence is needed.
