Ebron carted off field

If he does get back that could be lingering through out the season.

Eric Ebron - TE - Lions
Eric Ebron was carted off the field with an apparent Achilles' or ankle injury at Lions practice Saturday.
Ebron went down and was "grabbing the back" of his Achilles' or ankle on his right leg. Per beat writer Dave Birkett, Ebron could put no pressure on the leg when he tried to get up. Ebron took a step forward as a second-year player and the Lions are counting on a third-year leap. They are extremely thin at tight end with Brandon Pettigrew (ACL) on PUP and Tim Wright (ACL) on I.R. Someone named "Cole Wick" is now atop Detroit's depth chart.

Now they are saying its an ACL. So hes done for the year. And reports earlier in the day were saying he was all over the field and catching everything.

Owen Daniels, Quarless still out there i noticed ....ugh.

I haven't seen any confirmation on the injury yet. Not saying you're lying....

Eric Ebron was carted off the field with an Achilles' injury at Lions practice Saturday.
Ebron went down and was "grabbing the back" of his Achilles' on his right leg. Per beat writer Dave Birkett, Ebron could put no pressure on the leg when he tried to get up. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport called the injury potentially "devastating." Ebron took a step forward as a second-year player and the Lions are/were counting on a major third-year leap post-Megatron. They are extremely thin at tight end with Brandon Pettigrew (ACL) on PUP and Tim Wright (ACL) on I.R. Someone named "Cole Wick" is now atop Detroit's depth chart.

Next man up. Like the idea of trading for Rivera from Oakland

I expected him to have a huge year this year. Cole Wick might just get his chance to build on the hype he's been getting.

Really great news. We need all cylinders firing this year.

Keeping fingers crossed !!!!! Like tony says next guy up. Lions have a easy schedule and the better at least win 9 or 10 games with this cake walk schedule.

Eric Ebron has indicated to "at least two teammates" that he'll be "okay" following Saturday's Achilles' scare.

Ebron also posted a positive tweet and an Instagram video of him laughing with a friend while driving a car, all of which took place after he was carted off the practice field. Early indications are certainly positive that Ebron avoided a severe injury. We'll update when more information is available.
