Chelsea Bulldogs (10-3) 67.667 at Edwardsburg Eddies (13-0) 97.778.
similar sized schools Bulldogs at 851 to The Eddies at 838.


The Bulldogs play in a much tougher conference the Eddies do. Since 1950 they are
424-216-15. The Bulldogs have been in the playoffs a lot and made it to the 2015 finals and lost that only title game appearance. Offense and defense does not scare teams being at 448/308. they have two shutouts.

The Eddies since 1950 are 348-264-12. They lost in the title game last year to Grand Rapids Catholic Central who were on their way to back to back titles for GR in d4. They beat them in overtime last week in the semifinals 46-44. This is their second title game. What is interesting is their offense and defensive numbers. 677/131. They had only given up 87 points until last games 44. They have 5 Wolverine B shutouts one being in the playoffs to a league team.


Chelsea is so tough.. Eddies are high scoring. I am just unsure. Cheleasa is probably a slight favor.. I am taking the Eddies. I like both school's

First blood to the Eddies. 1:53 left in the first. 2pt is good . 8-0.Bulldogs with a nice drive and cap it off with a shirt 5 yard td catch early second .pat good. 8-7 eddies. Eddies turn it over on downs. Some really poor play calling. No huddle hurting the Eddies as Bulldogs are getting chunk yards in bunches. Big play tip ball is picked off to kill the Bulldogs Momentum. 2nd of the night ! eddies turn ball over right back . Looked like knee was down to me on that fumble.
Chelsea missed chip shot fg right before half.
Halftime score still 8-7 Edwardsburg.

My siblings and I all graduated from Edwardsburg. I played football for two years, first year on JV and second year on varsity. We really sucked back then, never won a game while I played.:-(

Eddies score on first drive of second half 2 pt is good. 16-7 now 5 left Third.
Bulldogs driving. 4th 16 at eddies 32 timeout called. Turnover on downs.Eddies ball late 3rd.
End of three 16-7 eddies.
Eddies stopped on 4th and 4 deep inside The Bulldogs territory. First down would have sealed this game maybe. Now Chelsea has a shot down nine with 5:29 left.
This is only the Bulldogs 2nd possession of the second half. Wow eddies ball control .

4th 16 on their own 10. What a dumb ass By that player for Edwardburg. Game could have been over. Penalty now 4th 6. He is short . Eddies hold.

I never know who has the ball on most plays lol. That is is. Five yard run by Eddies qb.. 2pt is no good 22-7 with 3:10 left. There is a fumble. That should start the celebration.
53 yard td for the Eddies. Pat missed score is 28-7.

Edwardsburg first championship ever. They are now 1-1 in title games after losing in last years finals. They should be good for awhile and the Wolverine B is a fun Conference to keep track of. It was all Eddies in the second half.
