What about the old-school techno from Knight Rider?

Perry Mason FTW...Liked OZZY's mid-90s remake even more...lol.

Half of the shows listed here have no lyrics either. M*A*S*H is mentioned several times but never used the lyrics on the TV show, only in the movie.

It was once: Some dude once in awhile character played his guitar and sang the song.

Does it really matter though? A theme is a theme instrumental or not....

The original Dragnet, Peter Gunn, Car 54 where are you, Sanford and Son, All in the Family, Petticoat Junction, The Real McCoys, Jackie Gleason's The Honeymooners, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, The Twilight Zone, The Beverly Hillbillies, Three Stooges' 'three blind mice', Laurel and Hardy's 'dance of the cuckoos', Dallas, Perry Mason, The Prisoner and Secret Agent Man with Patrick McGoohan, Mr. Ed,
probably several more if I thought longer about them. and Yeah, ....mostly older shows from the 50's/60's/70's.

Didn't Mary Anne get in trouble for mailing pot to Gilligan?

According to her Wiki page, she was busted on her birthday (Oct 18, '07)for having pot in her car, after being issued a citation for reckless driving.

His wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Denver

Denver was arrested for having a box of marijuana delivered to his home in 1998. He originally said that the box had come from Dawn Wells who played Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island, but he later refused to name her in court and testified that "some crazy fan must have sent it." The police reportedly found more of the plant and related paraphernalia in Denver's home. He pleaded no contest and received six months probation.

the character of Gilligan was pretty close to who Bob Denver was, but when he played Maynard G. Krebs I don't think he was acting at all.
