Fire Impacts teams in California

They mentioned this a lot on the broadcast between J. Serra vs oaks Christian Saturday night as oaks Christian is near some these fires. 8-2 Paridise forfeited its first round playoff game as some players and at least three coaches have lost their homes.

It’s been hell. Lots of friends have been severely affected by the nearby fires.

We are about 5 miles from Calabasas and West Hills and Hidden Hills.

Dang stay safe. My dad fought forest Fires in California once or twice in the 70’s. He had to go out from Michigan to help fight a huge fire ....He told me fighting fires out in California and out west in general is a whole different ballgame then in Michigan. The mountains make it so difficult to fight. Again stay safe T.

I heard about these fires but haven't been paying too much attention since it seems like fires out west have been very frequent. Then, I saw on the news this AM that 31 people have died so far. Holy crap!
