Fuck This Shit!

Well, I primarily know Omarosa Manigault from listening to her on the radio, sitting in for Jillian Barberie when Jill's been out selling her make up on home shopping network.

So I know she worked in the Clinton White House, and was on Celebrity Apprentice, and is a good friend of Donald Trump's, but I actually never watched that show, so I really had no acquaintance with her boobs before I just Googled them.

But at least I knew more about her political, affiliations, than Tamara Holder did before going on with Omarosa and Maria Bartiromo.

She gained celebrity for being a horrible human being on the regular Apprentice. I'm ashamed to admit to watching part of a season of that show but remember seeing her on the cover of some shitty magazine while in the checkout at the Jewel and thinking "she's smoking hot, maybe I should watch this show." So I watched a couple episodes and yeah, she's smoking hot but she such an awful person she made the show that much more unwatchable. I haven't seen it since and never watched Celebrity Apprentice, but it's no surprise she backs Trump - she's and idiot and if it wasn't for Trump, she'd just be an unknown idiot and horrible person. So I guess she's a loyal idiot and horrible person.

I don't understand why it's an issue. Certainly the fact that they've been successful yet are concerned about inequality should be weighed more here, not less.

one shouldn't need to suffer alongside the poor in order to advocate on their behalf.

It's a total hypocrisy - they could forego the nice house in the safe neighborhood, all the cars and the trapping of wealth, give their wealth to the government, charities they like or directly to poor families themselves - they could write the check today. But they don't. Instead they shit on the system they're embracing with both arms and cry for a government to dispossess others through coercive confiscation. They, like you actually think Sanders' policies won't affect their lives - but the taxes needed to pay for his $18T in incremental spending will drive taxes meaningfully higher for everyone.

You and your ilk are more than happy to give something that someone else earned to someone who hasn't, but you're not willing to make that sacrifice with your own property or opportunities - certainly not on your own anyway. You want to government to force everyone to do it with you. Just like affirmative action - you're more than generous with someone else's earned seat at a particular school but would you ever give up yours for the oppressed minority you pretend to advocate for? Not a chance in hell. You pretend to advocate for them, but you won't stand with them. You're a hypocrite, plain and simple.

I've seen some Sanders signs, but I haven't seen this.

I'm kind of wondering why people would think this is a good message..."fuck this shit..."

That's sort of my point. It causes a reaction beyond simply, "oh ...they're voting Sanders in the fall" and like I've said, we live in the Brooklyn of Denver. A traditionally black neighborhood now beset with transplants who have displaced many of the long term and more working class folks. My dad grew up in the area, attended the same HS that Chauncey eventually did and the local public HS is very diverse, by all normal standards ...but that's changing to a more affluent, white base (and yes, I'm white with a white son but his Grandmother attended East HS in the 20's).

I am sure my wife will vote Clinton/Sanders (says she's leaning Clinton) and gives money to causes like the ACLU and Southern Poverty Law. I work on Wall Street and do just fine and donate a lot of money every year to many charities ...we also have more modest cars than our new neighbors and the idea of proclaiming FUCK THIS SHIT! while in traffic as some beggar flies a sign at the intersection is vulgar, imo.

If you can't call a "fuck this shit" bumper sticker vulgar, then we should just retire the word. Remove it from the dictionary. It has no more purpose.

I'm sure Bernie probably wants to help the poor, but will he actually do it?

Giving money away to the poor doesn't solve the underlying issues of poverty...so I can partially understand a financially well-off person advocating for the poor without giving away all their possessions, but it still seems a bit silly.

...it says on the Bernie Sanders bumperstickers now adorning two of our neighbors four cars. Not sure if the other two also boast the same RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE mantra, but I have to laugh at the notion that our neighbors should be outraged about much, if anything.

Self-proclaimed vegans and completely nice people, they bought their house across the street from us for $530,000 about 18-months ago and outbid a number of other offers. Since buying the house they have replaced all of their cars and now have a new Acura SUV and new Nissan Hybrid (both of which have the stickers), along with a Honda Accord and WV Bus (not the surfer/hippie kind, the Euro-cyclist kind).

After buying the house, they converted the more traditional city front yard into an Urban Garden, built a chicken coop and reconfigured the garage to accommodate their dogs -- based on our much more modest landscaping endeavor a few summers ago, there is no way they spent less than $50,000 on the yard remodel.

Dad is in IT at the Water District and Mom stays at home with a newly adopted baby and their preschool aged part-timer.

So Fuck What Shit?!

Clearly they are incredibly financially stable and aren't in any way suffering like many are. They were able to buy a house in an incredibly competitive market and outbid others ...only to drop tens of thousands more to make the home theirs..

Transplants from the Chicago area and both Iowa Hawkeye alumni, I am going to bet that what we have across the street are lifestyle vegan liberal Trustafarians ...and God Bless - vote however you want to vote, its your RIGHT!!

But spare me the FUCK THIS SHIT mantra, Mr Samurai Bun Hipster Vegan.

I may just put a TRUMP sign out front to troll them ....

only one hybrid? Fucking posers!
