Feado walks 4 batters in first. Tigers trail 1-0. I'm not home.

That 1 run is holding up. Seattle 1 hit and the tigers 2 hits. Top of the 6th.

Man this team just struggles to hit. Maybe the 8th. Have to run up to the hospital to see someone. Need another comeback!

Max Clark stat. In a game where hitters are at a massive disadvantage in 0-2 counts, Clark is well above league average.
Down 0-2, Midwest League hitters average an OPS of .371
Clark’s OPS this season is nearly twice that — .736

They’ll need to add both players to the active and 40-man rosters. They don’t have any obvious candidates to land on the 60-day injured list, so they might need to designate multiple players for assignment tomorrow.

The Detroit Tigers continue the youth movement.

FIVE FOR FRIDAY.
Totally Tigers

Since Scott Harris was hired less than 2 years ago, the Tigers have been regularly churning their roster. To the point where only 2 positional players remain in their same positions today – Jake Rogers and Javier Baez. One because of his performance, the other because of his contract.
Harris has emphasized that the Tigers are trying to build their core group of players as well as their foundation. A number of players have been on this roster – and a number of them have either returned to Toledo or left the organization.

But while we focus on the big names, there are a number of players who are sneaking into the lineup more often because they are performing consistently. Flying under the radar.
And they just may turn out to be part of that core.
Granted, their positions may change due to trades and call-ups. But I expect these 5 under-the-radar guys to be part of the next competitive Tigers team:
