Can anyone serve me a piece of humble pie? I still would rather have Aaron Donald, but Ebron is turning into a nice weapon, isn't he?

Get StartedThe Lions are the first team in NFL history to open a season with 10 straight games decided by seven or fewer points.
The Lions are the first team in NFL history to have six fourth-quarter comebacks within their first 10 games, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford will get credit for his fifth fourth-quarter comeback in six weeks, a remarkable stretch.
He now leads the league in such comebacks since 2011, and has 26 for his career.
Stafford completed 24-of-33 passes for 278 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions for a passer rating of 97.8. In the second half Stafford completed 12 of 14 passes for 182 yards. 4th quarter Stafford completed 9 of 10 passes for 126 yards.
Riddick made about 100 Jaguars miss and converted several key drives. Down the stretch, he was probably Detroit?s most valuable player. He finished with 70 receiving yards on 8 catches and 13 rushing yards on 4 carries. Riddick played through a hand injury.
Matthew Stafford appeared in his 103rd career game, setting the franchise record for a quarterback.
He had been tied with both Eric Hipple and Greg Landry at 102.
Andre Roberts became the first Lions return man to return two punts for a touchdown since Eddie Drummond in 2004. Andre Roberts leads the league in punts returned over 10+ yards.
Roberts had an early muffed punt that no doubt made most Lions fans yell at their televisions.
He must have read the DSF Lions Game Thread because he responded with a sensational 55-yard punt return TD to give Detroit their first score of the game. Roberts also had a 45-yard catch. He made big plays and helped Detroit win a surprisingly tough game.
The Lions forced three turnovers overall Sunday ? Tavon Wilson intercepted Bortles? final pass of the game and Antwione Williams recovered a fumble ? and the Lions lost two fumbles themselves.
From ESPN Stats & Info: Eric Ebron is the 3rd TE to score a rushing TD this year.
The Lions continue to be one of the more intriguing teams in the league. They trailed in the fourth quarter. Again. And then they won, again, beating Jacksonville, 26-19, to go to 6-4 and still be tied for first in the NFC North.
They have won 5 of 6 games and four straight at home.
It's made them predictable only in their unpredictably from drive-to-drive and quarter-to-quarter.
S Don Carey had a hamstring injury during the game, taking one of Detroit's key special teams players off the field.

Boxscore.
The Lions entered the game ranked 26th in the NFL with nearly 25 percent of their drives this season (21) ending in a three and out.
That percentage got a little bit higher after Detroit?s offense recorded five more drives consisting of three plays and a punt against the Jags.
Detroit rushed for just three yards total in the first half and only had 15 yards total on 20 carries for the entire game.
They averaged just 1.1 yards per play on their first five drives. They were out-gained 160-20 during that stretch, and managed just one first down. They didn't run a single play in Jacksonville territory until the 2-minute warning.
Stat of the game: The Lions won the turnover battle 3-2.

Bush had the play of the game with an interception return for a touchdown. Bush also had 4 tackles and a key pass deflection. He hasn?t been great this season, but he made a difference in this game.
Nevin Lawson, Miles Killebrew led the team with four first-half tackles, and Darius Slay also made huge plays all game.
Ezekiel Ansah remains without a sack 11 weeks into the season. That is a surprise, of course, but he sure looks like he's finally getting over that high ankle sprain that cost him three games and limited his explosiveness upon his return.
He was all over the place in this one, logging four QB pressures on 12 pass-rush downs in the first half alone. Ziggy finished with 3 tackles.
Sam Martin is netting 45.4 yards per punt. That's No. 1 in the league, and the second best total by any punter trough 10 games since 1992. Martin added to that average today, with six punts that averaged 48.5 yards, including a 61 yard bomb that pinned Jacksonville inside their five yard line.
The Lions have scored every time they?ve been in the redzone this season.
Come on now lkp don't go overboard.
You can call them clutch, but also lucky to be able to dig out of the holes/trailing going into the 4th quarters.
Lions are better than all those teams
It's not luck. It's extreme talent, good coaching and execution
With the extreme talent we have on offense, great coaching, and execution, how do you explain how shitty our offense looks 90% of the game?
Can anyone serve me a piece of humble pie? I still would rather have Aaron Donald, but Ebron is turning into a nice weapon, isn't he?
He has the same amount of receiving TDs as Russel Wilson.
But seriously he has cut down on drops, I'm not sure he is a elite TE, which you hope to get in the top 10, but he is becoming a reliable 3rd/4th option.
The TDs will come. He has missed some games.
His drops have been overblown since he was a rookie anyways. He's slowly becoming one of the more solid TEs in the game. Hurts doesn't it? And try bumping him up in the pecking order btw. 3rd or 4th option? Lol. He's clearly surpassed MJ and I would say he's on Tate's heels. Riddick is Stafford's go to guy with a Ebron/Tate flip flop. Recognize it....
Let me get this straight. Ebron is behind Riddick and Tate. That would make him the 3rd option. Not sure why you are laughing at Brewer.
I still think Ebron drops passes way too much. He clearly hasn't been worth a top ten pick but he is finally becoming a viable part of the offense.
I laugh because I think he's basically as high as #2. Ebron and Tate are flip flops it seems like. Ebron has came up huge in the 4th quarter of games this year. Stafford looks for him in crucial times. Tate too....i'm not taking anything away from Golden but it looks like Staff is feeling more and more comfortable with EE. Shows signs of progress and trust. Jones is an afterthought in this offense now. Not sure wtf is going on there.....
And like I said before...his drops are overblown. And he's starting to look like a 1st rd pick lately. He's wayyyy better than he's ever been....coming up big at crucial times. That's what you want from your #1 TE. He just needs to stay healthy and the skies the limit IMO. He's improved every year. What more can you ask?
Ebron looks great. Can't say much bad about the kid this year other than a couple lingering injuries. Hes getting open vs lbs consistently. My biggest complaint the first couple years were how they were using him. He ran a 2 yard speed out 90% of the time. They've definitely expanded his role and he's making the most of it. He is the one guy that is just a little of in his timing with matt....Case in point when he wasn't ready for the seem route and just threw up one hand. That should have been an easy 20 yard pitch and catch. If there's a play stafford gets pissed. ...its more than likely ebron running a wrong route. Just nit picking Correctable stuff. His production has been there when healthy this year.
You crack me up, first you imply I'm upset because Ebron is succeeding, which is beyond moronic. Then you essentially agreed with everything I said in the first place.
