Play calling was fine in my opinion. If they had tried to run it 2 or 3 straight times and gotten stuffed all we'd be hearing is "we have CJ and Fauria two great red zone targets! Why not throw them the ball??"

Fauria dropped the TD pass. That's not on Lombardi.

On that drive play calling was a tad better. But play calling is everything. You ever notice how free agent players go to teams and don't produce at all suddenly? You have to have players play the right system for them. If our oline can't block then we need to make an adjustment. Can't just keep calling 7 step drops and say "players need to start playing." Adjust, make your offense the best that it can be with the tools at hand,

Why was it horrible? CJ and Fauria have been tremendous red zone targets for us. Just because it didn't work, doesn't mean it was a horrible decision.
