Tigers vs. Mariners Preview: Yusei Kikuchi?s weird numbers provide stiff test for Detroit.
Kikuchi has struggled against AL West competition, but dominated everyone else.

Detroit Tigers vs. Seattle Mariners, at Comerica Park, August 13, 2019 Matchups, Preview.
Baseball Reference

All-time DETROIT leads 217-198.

Speaking of smallish our two new rooks have battings averages of .237, & .182, but OBP's of .348, & .325 ! Funny they can get on base but can't hit past their noise.

Rogers with his 4th already...Tigers take the lead 4-3.

Ok so Rogers can hit it past his noise. That was an over statement. He needs to hit it more often. Still 4 HR in 34 is .11%

Maybe they can win this game for Boyd, but unless the Tigers go up by 5 or more late, there is always room for doubt.

Clownshow in the OF doesn't help.

Neither does walking the next batter w/one out.

And Matt coughs up his lead...6-6.

Uh-oh...another B2B...annd he gone...7-6 homeritis.

No win, just the chance for the loss, Matthew.

NRam in, another run scores 8-6.

9-6...l0lz!!

6 runs scored w/o recording another out.

NRam out..Hall in.

Douses the dumpster fire....for now.

No, but by the time we have an offense he will.

But no offense doesn't mean a pitcher can't pitch well. If somehow he lets say has a 3.10ERA next season with a boat load of k's but has a record of 3-10 it won't prevent teams from wanting to trade him.
