Exactly. Which is why to saying we 'should have sold high' we might not have gotten a thing. As far as "Just as good." How good is Boyd? I think he has talent others on here don't think so. But I'm not going to take the stance that there is no chance he can improve.

Its funny if you go Lions some think Stafford can improve even at age 30 coming off a bad year yet that's okay..

I don't think anyone is saying Boyd doesn't have talent. Just saying that a 29 year old doesn't do much good in a rebuild except via a trade. At the earliest this team is still a couple years away from turning it around. By then he'll be due his big payday. Then what?

And you know that for a fact? That he has 0 chance to get better next season and the one after that because it never happens?


And again...you are holding out hope for that 1%. The likelihood that Boyd improves, although possible, is not probable to the level just before the All Star break.
