The 22-year-old Castro has put together a solid campaign in his first full season at the Triple-A level. He posted a 113 wRC+, with 11 home runs and 17 stolen bases for the Mud Hens this season.
Questions have remained about his tendency to be error prone, despite his solid skillset for the position. He?s been charged with 22 errors this season out of 384 chances, but continues to be graded as average or better by the major scouting services.

Castro hit .301 with 11 homers, eight triples and 28 doubles in 525 plate appearances for Triple-A Toledo this season. He had an on-base percentage of .366 and slugging average of .467.

On this day in 2007 it was the long rain delay vs. the yankees when Carlos Guillen hit the walkoff 3 run homer to win the game for the Tigers at around 3:30 in the morning.

2007: Carlos Guillen hits a walk-off home run in the 11th inning. The game started after 4-hour rain delay and ended at 3:30 a.m. with the Tigers winning 9 - 6 over the yankees.

Also on this day 2 years ago was the game between the Tigers and yankees when it seemed every yankee's pitcher was throwing at Tigers batters heads and the fight broke out with Miggy and the backup catcher romine, and then Sanchez and Judge pigpiled and threw punches at Miggy's back and herniated discs, and his throat. The whole team is a huge group of pieces of shit.

2017: A game between the Tigers and Yankees at Comerica Park is marred by a series of brawls and eight ejections. Things start to get ugly in the 6th when New York pitcher Tommy Kahnle throws a pitch behind Miguel Cabrera's head. Kahnle gets ejected, as does manager Joe Girardi who comes out to protest, and C Austin Romine and Cabrera after they get into a heated argument that see the two exchange blows and end up wrestling on the ground as both benches empty.
After both teams score three runs in the 7th, Dellin Betances hits Detroit's James McCann with a fastball in the head, and Betances and coach Rob Thomson are both tossed. In the 8th, the Tigers' Alex Wilson plunks Todd Frazier and is ejected as well, along with manager Brad Ausmus.
When the dust settles, the Tigers win the game, 10 - 6. Five participants will receive suspensions as a result: 7 games for Cabrera for inciting the initial brawl, 4 games for Wilson, 1 for Ausmus, 4 games for Yankees player Gary Sanchez for throwing punches during the brawl, and 2 for Romine.
MLB's head of discipline and yankee's friend Joe Torre refuses to suspend Kahnle or Bettances for their headhunting tactics, nor does Torre suspend Aaron Judge for his part in piling on Cabrera while on the ground and throwing punches to his throat and back with the two herniated disc.

Can't speak for everyone but's it's not the baseball we fell in love with. Now everyone swings for the fence. 11th straight season we'll see an increase in strikeouts.
