Are you implying Wright should continue to start over him when Houston gets back? What has Wright done to keep his job other than suck? He's one of the worst starting cb's in the NFL. Give Smith a chance imo

phons is still learning the game guys. geez, you'd think he raped your wife instead of having now, what...8 INTs in limited play over the last 2 years, including 2 pick 6s? give the kid a chance to keep improving instead of lynching the guy as he continues to show reasonably good skills while still developing. nothing wrong with keeping him as a nickel. sure has been better than some of the other guys we've had back there.

I definitely don't see it being a situation like the smith one when he came back after 1 game and was immediately starting the next. What Phons is doing is awesome this game. I see it as progress and not an "I have arrived" moment.

Well sure, they're not gonna leave Smith on an island all game vs elite wrs or anything. But he's made some plays. He should be starting over Wright.
