I'll try this one. When u swing and miss u do not hit the ball, ie no hits no homeruns. enough swings and misses = strikeouts and LOW batting averages.

I get it but the whole league tries to hit home runs and they strike out a ton but hit the HR. We just strike out.

They draft better positions players. Like when was the last time the Tigers drafted a Harper, Trout, Arenado, Yelich, or a number of all stars. Really the last position all star is no longer with the team.
