Bottom of the 2nd, bases loaded on 3 singles with an Urshela strikeout in the mix, Baez up. He hits a sacrifice fly. 1-1. Perez steals 2nd, then Rogers lines out to center.

Top of the 3rd, Manning yields a home run to Julien, 2-1 Twins.

Bottom of the 3rd, Greene, Canha, and Torkelson combine for three outs in 5 pitches. So much for the concept of moving the Twins into their depleted bullpen. The first two Twins batters try to do the same, then Wallner spoils it by striking out on 6 pitches. After an inefficient first inning, Manning 56 pitches after three innings.

How deep was that off of Colt’s Bat. He smoked that pitch . Just missed.

Manning being more aggressive. He needs to trust his stuff if he wants to stay up with the big league team. Good to see

Top of the sixth, Manning strikes out the first two batters, gives up a bloop single, then throws a sweeper right down the middle to Willi Castro for a home run. Big mistake to a hitter who is slumping and doesn't have much power. 4-1 Twins.

Manning is out after 6 and 2/3rd, at 92 pitches. Went in..

End of the 7th; Tigers threaten with a Vierling single, strikeouts by Keith and Urshela, and a double by Perez, but Baez grounds out to second. Still 4-1.
