It marked the sixth postponement of the season for the Tigers, but the first at Comerica Park since April 20. With the Yankees traveling to Toronto later Thursday, the teams will play a straight doubleheader.

Game 1 will begin at 1:10 p.m. with the second game following 30 minutes after the completion of the first.

Tigers lefty Matthew Boyd (8-10, 4.57 ERA) will pitch the first game, with right-hander Spencer Turnbull (3-14, 4.68) working Game 2.
