I remember there was a time because of an injury he was struggling from one of the sides of the plate-I forget which one.

So it might be because of who was pitching today and who is pitching yesterday.

Beavis actually pitched well, 5 innings 1 run 6 hits couple of walks and 3 K's,

he is still winless for 2018,

Ver Hagen gave up 2 runs and stands to lose the game,

Tigers batting last of the 8th,

But w/o "winning" as a consolation prize being the first pick in the draft. The Tigers still could wind up with the third pick. being only a game and a half separating them in the loss column.
