Game 16: Lions @ Packers Thread

Ebron has had more tds with luck this year than his entire career with stafford. Shhhh lkp.

Colts have shit options and Ebron finally got it. Y5ebron. Quinn made the mistake and I was right about Ebron. Not Staffords fault at all

Lions LB Jarrad Davis produces sack No. 6.0 on the season, extending his career-high.
Davis and Devon Kennard become the first set of Lions LBs to each produce 6.0+ sacks in the same season.

With his TD pass today, Lions QB Matthew Stafford tied Fran Tarkenton (33) for the 2nd-most TD passes against the packers.
Stafford also notched TD pass No. 236 of his career, passing Drew Brees (235) for the 5th-most TD passes a player has thrown in his first 10 seasons.

The Lions defense forced 3 consecutive 3-and-outs for the second-straight game.

By throwing a TD pass today, Lions QB Matthew Stafford has reached 20 passing TDs on the season.
He becomes the 7th QB in NFL history to produce 3,500+ passing yards and 20+ passing TDs in eight consecutive seasons.

Lions K Matt Prater throws his 1st career NFL touchdown.
He becomes only the 9th kicker in NFL history to throw a TD pass and 1st Lions kicker to do so.
David Akers was the last kicker to throw a TD pass, doing so on Jan. 1, 2012.

The Lions have topped 85 rushing yards for the 7th-straight game. This marks their first 7-game streak of 85+ rushing yards since they did so in 8-straight games over the 2004-05 seasons.
This is their longest single-season streak since doing it 10 times in 2000.

Lions WR Brandon Powell recorded 84 receiving yards in the 1st half. This marks the most receiving yards an undrafted player has ever recorded in the first half for the Lions.

Lions rookie WR Brandon Powell has topped 100 receiving yards today.
He joins Larry Foster (11/30/2006) as the only Lions UDFAs to produce 100-yard receiving games for the @Lions since 1966.
Powell joins #Bills WR Robert Foster as the only UDFAs this season to produce 100+ yards.

Lions S Tavon Wilson records his first sack of the season.
The Lions have now produced 43.0 sacks this season, their most since producing 44.0 sacks in the 2010 season.

Lions CB Darius Slay @_bigplayslay23 records the 90th PD of his career.
He turns 28 on January 1.
Players to produce 90+ PDs before turning 28 (Since 1999):
- D. Slay
- J. Haden
- D. Rodgers-Cromartie
- B. Flowers
- D. Revis
- J. Joseph
- D. Hall
- A. Samuel
- C. Bailey

The Lions have scored 30+ points against Green Bay for the 4th-straight game.
This Lions become the 1st team since the Rams in 1951-53 to score 30+ points in four consecutive games against the Packers.

Lions QB Matthew Stafford is now tied with Johnny Unitas (34) for the most career TD passes against the Packers.

The Lions have shut out the packers on the road for the first time since 1970, have won 4 straight against the packers for the first time since the 1982-83 seasons and have won consecutive games at GB for the first time since 1990-91.

The Lions have set a franchise record by not committing a turnover in 7 games this season, clinching the record with a clean slate at Green Bay in Week 17.

💪 17 games for @snacks this season. #OnePride

Ty hilton is better than any of the crap we can put out on the field. Wrong again lkp!

On the opposite end, Tate is pretty much useless on the Eagles.

Meh...
40 catches 500 yds 3 tds for det
30 catches 300 yds 1 td for phi

Not like that's a huge drop off.... new team trying to work his way in.

11 tds in 4 years.
12 tds in 16 games ... that's a big difference.

Stafford 5th most tds in nfl history for first 10 seasons. One more than drew Brees

Stafford is a elite hof qb to be

Let me know when he does something.

Even just by stats he's not close to elite or hall of fame. Somehow that 5th will start moving as the seasons go by. I mean outside 2011 his TD totals don't seem extraordinary. 1 season besides 2011 he had 30+. There were 9 guys who had 30+ just this year.

Marvin went to IR like a puss. Hilton played through his injuries. Golladay is better than TY Hilton??? Trying to wrap my head around that...based off 1 rookie season where he didnt do much of anything and one season where he was the man because Marvin went down and Tate was traded...and he still didnt do much of anything. Interesting obeservation. You just used that same excuse for Ebron being able to produce because their were no other weapons. Yet in the case of Golladay there no other weapons and he doesnt produce? Why doesnt Golladay have 13 TDs then like Ebron? Oh...ding ding ding...it MUST FUCKING BE BECAUSE STAFFORD SUCKS ASS! WINNER!!!

70 catches 1063 yards and 5 TDs. Pedestrian for a #1 WR. Very pedestrian.

40 career TDs vs 8. youre an idiot....

This is so awesome....
Ebron sucked because Stafford sucks. Ebron's awesome now because of Andrew Luck lol.

NOW....

Golladay isn't that good because Stafford isn't that good. Right?! It's Stafford's fault that Golladay didn't have 1500 yds and 15 TDs lol. If Golladay was on any other team in the NFL, you Stafford haters would be stroking the junk of any other QB because they turned Golladay into a stud WR with huge upside. You idiots are fucking unreal lol

I think Golladay is pretty good. He isn't a stud, but a pretty good WR.

He most definitely is a stud. He was a 3rd, 4th option as a rookie and showed flashes of brilliance.
Came into this yr as the #3 and played out of his mind on most days. He was one of the reasons why Tate was traded btw and you can see that he was the better option than M. Jones. Golladay comes into 2019 as the clear cut #1 option in the passing game. I expect humongous production from #19 next yr...

You can't argue that if Matty could hit the broad side of a barn our deep guy would have better numbers.
