That's why I've said many times...this team will be bad for years to come. Might take 10 years to turn us back into a playoff contender.

I want to counter with 2003: 114 losses. 2006: AL Champs. But CI is not going to buy a contender, so, unless these youngsters in the pipeline make a impact before they are UFA's, 10 years might be optimistic.

Yup, that's the problem...they aren't going to spend money. So we have to draft them or get them somewhere for fairly cheap. I ain't holding my breath.
