Crazy that the 2 teams in the drivers seat for the conference title are UM and MSU. I don't think any of us expected this.

I'm just glad that thuggish coach is gone. I enjoyed watching Beilein's teams play and so far May has brought an enjoyable to watch game.

Well Howard started strong with JB’s guys and was a Wagner made jumper from the final four. He went downhill after that ever season. He ran terrible plays out of timeouts. He didn’t seem like a very nice guy. His last two seasons were bad. That 8 win season they were Terrible. May has been a breath of fresh air for Michigan hoops.

I feel msu has a tad deeper bench and rotation. I wonder if May may try and use a zone against msu ? Idk. The lack of ball handling may hurt Michigan. Purdue threw two different players at Purdue’s Smith and wore him out he had 6 turnovers. Michigan’s turnovers have been a little bit better in recent games but still more than msu’s.

IU's zone was brutal for us given our 3 point shooting woes. I don't know why illinois played so much man defense less than a week after seeing what IU was able to do. IU's bigs also dominated w/ 2 guys getting double-doubles. I didn't see the Purdue game but I assume they did the same.

May has been playing more guys recently. I hope that helps but it is crazy the depth MSU has. Plus they have enough bigs to play big also.
Heck I didn’t think Michigan would be this good. MSU was retooling but light years ahead of Howard’s team last season.
