Looks like 4 batters will have as many homers so far as Nick and Miggy combined @ the end of April and in an average of @ least 20 less PAs, including GG...go figure.

Both Harrison and Jones have been gawdawful @ the plate, with the forner sporting a -0.8 WAR, and the latter -0.5.

No hits for the Phils since the 2nd inning. Impressive pitching performance tonight.

Who is Castro by the way..

Josh Harrison's LH batting injury replacement. and who might as well be his permanent, if the former continues to be a net liability on the roster by no later than mid-June. (if not sooner)

Joshy is like Jaque Jones was for the Tigers in '08, but piays the IF. Their stats are/were almost the same, but Jones actually had a slightly higher slashline when he was released in mid-May (and his salary was more than 3x higher according to BBR):

Harrison:

Harrison has been a waste so far. I just don’t understand why the Tigers never look for obp guys ? It just seems like our scouts are braindead.

Harrison had an obp well over .300 from 2013-2017, and was still decent last year. He is just not performing since he became a Tiger.

Some guys never seem to completely adjust to the Junior Circuit, (esp SPs)...for example Edgar Renteria became a .300+ hitter in the NL, but not for the 2 seasons in the AL with the Red Sox in '05 'and Tigers in '08...then 2 years later he became freaking WS MVP with the Giants.
