Tigers vs. Rays preview: Spencer Turnbull aims to deliver another home win for Detroit.
It will be the young stud against the rejuvenated veteran at Comerica Park as the Tigers aim for a series win.

I know who he is just didn't realize you were talking about him kind of just threw it out in the open didn't you :).

Well one went at 7 and the other was a 2nd round pick. I do like his speed and defense and if he can play CF, I mean really play it, he doesn't need to hit a ton.

Checking into the funny farm for a couple of days no miggy updates while away

There's bad and then there's really bad. And then we have the Tigers'.

Sloppy defense plagues Tigers on wet night.

Rays 4 - Tigers 0: Spencer Turnbull got no help from his offense, defense, or Mother Nature.
A few rough plays and a quiet offensive effort buried the Tigers.

Detroit Tigers observations: Familiar mix in loss, with too few hits, too many errors.

There isn't a single Tigers positional players who is even remotely worthy of AS game consideration. Greene will likely be the Tigers lone obligatory rep, and he certainly deserves to be selected to the pitching staff, given his season-long AL lead in saves.

Team has scored the fewest runs (207) in MLB, and only the Marlins are close to that anemic and pitiful figure.

I think Boyd deserves it over Green.

Greene is the easy choice for the "committee" to make.

There are what...5-6 AL pitchers chosen for an ASG being played in Cleveland, and Francona was just picked to the Bosox manager Cora's staff. Sale will be the obvious choice for LH pitcher, and I would guess that the mediocre Tribe will have more than one rep on the roster, depending on if one or both Lindor and/or Santana make the positional roster by fan vote and/or player vote. Their SPs are dropping like flies though.

I know wins are a meaningless stat but I love the fact that Sale is a cool 2-7. Lmao. I'd pick Minor, Boyd or Snell over him, if it were up to me. He started off BAD but has returned to form for the most part.
