Game 63 Tigers vs. twins June 9, 2019

Seems like most of the twinks have big black bushy eyebrows...almost unibrows.

Looks like @ Royals next week might be the Tigers only halfway-decent chance of winning a series prior to the July ASB.

Hicks one-hands a groundrule double to left in the bottom 7th.

JaCoby with the Tigers first run since the first inning on an rbi double to right...12-2.

twinks pad-averaging personal stats now...sano singles.

Mr jones has his ave up to .252 now his turnaround with the stick has been nothing short of miraculous...might be time to move him up in the order a little bit and see if he can handle it

buxton almost swings out of his shoes trying to homer, but Ks.

On to the bottom 8th and the bloody gashing is almost over.

I should expect that at least half of this '19 Tigers team, won't still be on it at the start of the next season/decade.

Even Joe Blow could assemble a team who loses 2/3rds (or maybe more) of their games. (not counting Llegendary Lloyd)

Yet they will be merely 11-12 vs division after this latest loss...which only goes to show how mainly shitty that it is.

Right after I pointed out Hicks' silent bat, he doubles and singles...go figure.

Cmon Jonesy...make it 12-4.

oh, well...thats ballgame.

If it wasn't for the Red Wings and Pistons, I wouldn't have witnessed very many championship teams who played for Detroit in my lifetime. At least the short-lived USFL Michigan Panthers won a pro-football championship, was only two months old when the Lions last won one...this b/c I still highly doubt that they will during the next 10-20 years...largely depending upon what Bill Jr does or doesn't do after nonagenarian Mom Firestone inevitably passes away. Same with Chris Ilitch...he doesn't strike me as being someone who has enough desire or eagerness to see the Tigers rise to the top of the MLB heap.

Posting about being ancient...how come that there was an internet Abe Vigoda death watch for years, but not for Kirk Douglas who will turn 103 this coming December?...he was born ~3 years before my late father, who died (suddenly) almost 21 years ago.

The Detroit Tigers are a for-profit big business entertainment entity, and ala their corporate peers, will order their publicity department to paint a rosy picture over a fresh steaming and stinking pile of dogshit...the other method is to trot out some young and pretty unknown spokeswoman to the press, when a product and/or service injures, kills, or causes severe illness to we of the hoi-polloi.

tigers swingers waist a game to pad their stats in a 12 - 2 LOOOSS.
