Game 8: Lions vs Chiefs *LONDON* Thread

This is one very bad football team with very bad players, coaches, management and ownership

Flat out embarrassment from top to bottom, not a single player on this team is worth a two shits they are all terrible and should look for other careers. Football players they are not. No lions hearts to be found in the uk either

Pathetic horseshit performance worst lions team I have ever seen hands down, these guys are a flat out fking joke, every gawd damn one of them!

Pathetic. No other words.

But, I counted at least 6 missed holds on the KC O-line (full on bear hugs with jersey pulls), with 3 coming on KC TDs. No way this shitty team wins, but I wonder what happens if those are actually called.

Coordinators don't get guarantees. They actually don't even get contracts, they are hired.

So he may be laughing, but he's collected his last NFL paycheck.

If Caldwell can keep on getting jobs I suppose Lombardi can as well. Harder for an OC but maybe he goes QB coach..

I see that as a Lions fan trying to look for why we got our asses kicked.

To be a little fair, it seemed the run game improved slightly. Unfortunately they were unable to continue running much after Stafford's 2nd INT, which was not all on Stafford. As score got more lopsided, had to pass more.

I was little hopeful when hearing Lions were going to try running 25 times during the game and after the first drive which showed a little improvement in the running game. At least Jim Bob recognized the lack of a run game is a huge issue and initiated some degree of positive change on that front. Unfortunately they were unable to sustain it. Would have been nice to watch a more balanced O.

For the next game maybe they can work on rolling Stafford off that huge X in the backfield which the D gets to target knowing that Stafford is in a must throw situation and he always drops back to the X. Always. That lack of change by itself is a reason Stafford is sacked so frequently.

It's not the OL taking the heavy blame anymore..The D sucked ass. Fire Austin.. Last 4 weeks, 139 points given up. Complete shit.

When the wide out is covered like a glove, and the ball gets tipped for an INT, it's on the QB.

Andy Reid, Matt Prater get game balls for Chiefs, Lions That's pathetic.

.

how is throwing it directly to a defender not all on Stafford?

The second one was deflected and got intercepted by another defender, not the initial. Just saying the D made a good play more than Stafford made a terrible throw. Relative to many of his INTs through the years, that one was more a good play by the D than anything bad from Stafford.

Defenders are allowed to make plays, something too often forgotten, overlooked, minimized as a factor.

yes it was tipped by a defender. Yes it was thrown directly at said defender. Bad decision, bad accuracy. We blame the oline a lot....fine....Stafford still got the ball off 36 times today....and he did jack shit to score.

I agree with them, this team is an absolute disgrace if I were the fords I'd be waiting at the airport with a bull horn and accounce you're fired as each one gets off the plane, after that I would publicly appolgize to the entire lions nation for the disgrace and then accounce you will be selling the team to someone else Anyone else whom might know what the fuck they are doing

I am throughly convinced and have believed for years the key to success in the NFL is to build around the lines, you don't need pro bowl qb's rb's and wr's you need a great line and the rest takes care of itself with ave qb's rb's and wr's we need leadership that gets that! This ownership and those they've hired don't understand this and they all need to go
