but u have to agree this team has the wrong mind set bringing the closer time after time in non save with the results they get in them. I can not recall the last time it worked, and I think it did this season. But it's failed so many times.

It's a sound baseball strategy. Tie game going into the top of the 9th at home. Your closer is supposed to be one of your best relief pitchers. Bring him in to shut the opponent down and try to win it in the bottom of the 9th. Green didn't do his job.

True even when they are picthing well they don?t with Ron?s 5 inning 80 pitch limit which ever comes first
