I guess I just find it ironic that you chimed in on one of the worst plays of the game, when there have been a lot of great plays so far, especially from the defense.

defense has played great...if we had anything that resembled an offense wed be up by 20. we cant run for shit and Stafford keeps pissing drives away. bush wide open for a 1st down....let get sacked from behind instead of throwing it to him. pick as soon as your defense gets you the ball back. tate has faded away into obscurity. typical Stafford...

Stafford hasn't played well. therefor I said he blows. his touchdown was a great play by CJ. His pick was a great play by the defender. Very little of this offense is based on him playing good so far today.

How much do you think is on Stafford and how much do you think is on Lombardi? I've seen Stafford go through his progressions quite a few times already. He has made some bad throws, including the interception, but I think Lombardi's playcalling has been the main thing holding the offense back.

We said that about the last OC. Sometime we have to look at the guy throwing the ball..

I understand calling out his mistakes, but the guy is the best QB the Lions have had during my 41 years on the planet, and is an extreme bit better than a damned LOT of the QB's in the league.

And the only thing you can do is knock him. You don't ever give him credit for great plays. You don't give him credit for leading the game winning drives. It's all "team effort" and "team win" from you.

But you'll be the first one to call him out for anything, including good plays. I've seen him make a good play and you talk about how he sucks, the receiver did it all.

I gotta know what your beef is with the guy, because it's obvious you're either blind, or you have some personal grudge against him.

agreed....Lombardi is to blame as well. the ridiick run on 3rd down was questionable at best.

The touchdown pass to Calvin was a perfect pass since Grimes is less than 6 foot. Plus, it hit CJ in stride. Don't know how you can say it wasn't a good throw by Stafford. Calvin barely even had to jump and was actually coming down when he caught it.

Yeah, that was all Grimes had to do. He didn't have to go 5 foot in the air like he was a high jumper to make that catch or anything. Didn't have to come down with a lucky one handed grab.

He pretty much just had to stop and catch, right? The ball was right to him.
