Wyatt Langford now has 39 RBI which would be 2nd on the Tigers, he also missed a month, and he will be in his 4th season by the time Max Clark is starting for whomever is the POBO in 2027.

What a Tarik Skubal Trade Would Look Like.

Today In 1957: Great footage of the AL & NL starting lineups for the Major League in St. Louis! Fun Fact: The fans in Cincinnati stuffed the ballot boxes for Redlegs /Reds players that year, leading to the suspension of fan voting until 1970!

Tigers medical update: Jack Flaherty (low back tightness) completed a bullpen session and remains scheduled to start Thursday.
Sawyer Gipson-Long, who has been recovering from Tommy John surgery, underwent left hip labral repair surgery in Detroit. See you in 2025.

Clark was the better choice. We complain so much about defense and we draft a guy with more 'skills' we lambaste him.

Langford is starting already. Most of us wanted him. Prep players take 3/4/5 years to develop. College is like a minor leagues baptism for them and nearly MLB ready.

Days of Roar Tigers Podcast: 2024 MLB draft preview for Detroit Tigers, and All-Star reactions. 66 minutes.

On this episode: First-time All-Star selections Tarik Skubal and Riley Greene will represent the Detroit Tigers on July 16 at the 2024 MLB All-Star Game. Mark and Evan break down the All-Star picks coming off the Tigers' first series sweep since the season-opening series, along with discussing Jack Flaherty's trade value after another injection to treat his lower back injury.
After that, Perfect Game's Vinnie Cervino joins the podcast to preview the 2024 MLB Draft, which begins July 14. The Tigers have the No. 11 overall pick in this year's draft. To wrap up, Mark and Evan discuss the injuries to Casey Mize and Parker Meadows and if the Tigers need to call on Andrew Chafin as their new closer.

You assume he'd be starting for us because he's starting with his current team. Do you really want another DH, because he's just average in LF.. He's over hyped. We know prep players take the time to develop, so? What's the hurry - we're not competing anyway. And most of us? Did you take a poll? I'll take the speed, defense, contact over power.
