Every kitten needs to have a baseball in their locker with "hit me" on it, and a note with that's how the money gets made.

Announcers are talking about developing Turnbull. Why then trade Boyd. Should Fulmer come back and one of the minors come up and find a 5th starter other than Zimmerman.

O I forget they have no bull pen!

Castellanos adds to trade value in Tigers loss.

Turnbull's outing encouraging, but Tigers losing skid hits 10 against Indians.

Jiminez must really love being a Tiger...he is doing everything possible to make him un-tradable.

Gardenhire should maybe put Jimenez into a lower leverage situation for several games, and use someone else in the 8th inning....or perhaps have him pitch some as an opener for a SP like Norris.

he should be sent down to Toledo

I remember when it was the Tigers who dominated the tribe not so long ago, but even those teams weren't able to do so as thoroughly and utterly as the past few tribe teams have under manager francona.

What's the difference when bringing up another RP who would be just as bad, if not worse to replace him in the BP? If they had anyone better in Toledo, then he would already be up here.

With the orioles win and Tigers loss last night, both teams now share the same amount of wins @ 29, but the o's have 4 more games in the loss column @ 66. Tigers won't likely catch up in GP until late September b/c of stopped and postponed games.

I don't care if they are better or worse. He needs to get sent down to get his head straight.

Only way that Joey gets his head on straight, is by being acquired by a ballclub like the Rays, who might even be able to help him develop an off-speed pitch or cutter and become closer-worthy.

Anibal Sanchez even volunteered to go down to Toledo a few years ago, and he was brought back up with little if any change whatsoever, but he has managed to get his shit together with the Nats. I was sure that he was all done in MLB after the Tigers declined his option prior to last season.

Sometimes positional players (like Candelario of late) have eventually benefited by being sent down, but the Tigers absolutely suck @ rehabbing scuffling or post-ILed pitchers in the minors.

I've been waiting to hear about some obscure injury that JJ has been pitching through. Something that they thought would heal on its own without needing time off and would not affect his play.

I agree a team with better coaching and player development could get him back on track and possibly successful in a closer role. I have zero confidence the Tigers are able to do that for him.

After the 2nd Trumbull pitched good and still took him out before 90 pitches. Manager is hell bent on using the BP as much as possible.

So when will the Tigers next win come?

Next week?
Next month?
Next year?
