Sounds like quite a few jays fans made the trip here to root for their team.

Lots of dark clouds above, not including the one that has been hoovering over the Tigers since early May.

Nothing to be concerned about when the season was utterly lost long ago, and they have Carpenter and perhaps Adelman to call up in addition to Soto, plus they could bring RP Adams back up and stretch out RP Hardy for some spot starts. If say Boyd gets traded next week. Putting Turnbull on the IL now might even mean that they could begin to spot-start him, if/when he returns, so that he won't be completely useless by mid-late August.

What if they resumed a game that was delayed by rain, and nobody cared?
 
Our Tigers are going to set a ML record for losses in a season.
I will be shocked if they win 43 or more.
An ignominious distinction and f?n chris ilitch doesn?t care.

We?ll see.

Really only the 2003 Tigers and the ?62 Mets count.

It looked like a three team race for a while but the Royals appear to have started to collapse going into stretch, leaving it as it stands between the Orioles and the sixteen years later version of the Tigers.

Both are noteworthy, but still have a ways to go to make the list, and the Orioles have also exhibited recent signs of falling out of the running.
