God Bless You Jimmy Carter

RIP.

I saw they’re closing the stock market on January 9th for him.

Jimmy Carter, the peanut farmer who became president and was all about kindness and peace.
Maybe not the most celebrated president, but a kind and gentle man and family man who served our country.
May he rest in peace, 100 years old and a life well lived helping those who needed it the most.

Shortly after presidents Ford and Carter both became former presidents, they became friends and did some kind of symposium of some sort at Ford’s Alma Mater the University of Michigan. We - The Glee Club - sang a mini-concert for them.

Its a moment I won’t forget; not too many people have a chance to do something like that, i think.

Carter was so cute, he had that big ass toothy grin on his face just like he had always had on television.
