I know... But is bugs people so i like to post it.. Plus it is a easy stat to post and baseball reference has a easy list to grab the numbers from.. More information the better right??

I gotcha, not vote from Tram. Do you really want Ripken as the DP combo with Sweet Lou?

Ripken-6
Tram-4
Arod-2
Ozzie-1
Omar Vizquel (write-in)-1

He put him ahead of Aparicio and Sewell, which calls the list into question. A decade from now, no one will remember Vizquel...

I hope I'm still alive, and this board is still up so I can get the last laugh on this subject. Visquel will be a HOF one day, maybe not the 1st time but eventually.

Don't make me unload the Ohio State jokes...

He might be. Ozzie got in but he's still irrelevant. Does anyone talk about Vizguel now?

Still tied. Will close in a few hours and go to a tie-breaker if necessary.

Tram has 21 more WAR in 3 less seasons. how is visquel even close to as good as Tram was? Sure Vizquel was awesome defensively, but Tram was also really good on D. Vizquel was nowhere near as good as Tram was offensively though.

i found something cool on fangraphs too...while Ripken leads Tram in WAR by about 30, Tram only trailed him in OPS by 20 points, in wOBA by 2 points, and had the exact same RC+ for their careers. Trammell is WAY underrated by most people. Its a crime hes not in the HOF by now.

Tram had an arm like an old wash lady, sure he made the plays like Jeter does now. 2365 hits in 20 years don't make the Hall unless you have excellent defensive skills and Tram didn't have them. Visquel has 11 Gold Gloves, Trammel has 3. Visquel also has 2841 hits.

Gold gloves have become a joke and Vizquel's hit totals are inflated b/c of the era he played in. Put Vizquel in Tram's era and you get a utility infielder.

No I had a change of heart.. i had Aroid until I remembered he was a cheater... My forgetfulness.
