Thank you, thank you...but without my Guild writers, I would be just another pretty face...

nice work tinsel!!!

While I am rejoicing that an extremist leader has departed,I just hope venezuala finds a way to come back to a more moderate stance and not the same or even more extreme.

get real guys... the only reason he was an "extremist" and "crazy" to you is because that's how he was portrayed in the U.S. media, and that's all you know. you never visited other countries to see how they portrayed him, and you never met him personally.

and the reason he was portrayed that way, instead of, say King Abdullah in Saudi Arabia, or the two-bit despot we put in charge of Iraq is because his policies cut Exxon-Mobil, Chevron, Sunoco, BP, and Shell out of a couple percentage points of profit on Venezuelan crude. if he had played ball, he would've been a "stalwart U.S. ally" and a "stand up guy"

This isn't true at all.

I think he's crazy because he has all that metal shit stuck through his face, and he wore a wedding dress when he married Carmen Elektra.

"Guys?" Only one person commented on Chavez's political character. I can almost hear the sound of your fist on the rostrum. Not every thread should be considered by you an opportunity to set the record straight.

hey champ, maybe u can go down there and quickly get citizenship and then replace chavez! you have the same agenda and extremist views after all, you'd fit right in. ;)

HEY!

the "Mission Accomplished" banner only referred to the aircraft carrier he's on completing it's mission to the Persian Gulf. So technically it's correct. Technically. Or so they claimed.

The mission probably was accomplished. It's just that the only people that knew what the mission actually was were Bush, Cheney, and Hank Paulson...and probably Matt Taibbi.

I thought that the "Mission Accomplished" thing was that he flew the plane that transported him to that carrier himself for a little bit, after the real pilot took off, and before the real pilot landed.

Do not make light of this...those rice paddy hoppers were some sneaky ass bastards.

while i had no issue with the wars, the Mission Accomplished banner pissed me off. the mission was to kill OBL, and as much as i am not an Obama fan, he is the one deserving of that banner.

for me, taking out iraq, a known sponsor of terror, gave our forces a second front into which we could take out the iranian regime, another known terror sponsor, and syria, yet another known sponsor of terror.

either you take on terror everywhere or dont declare war on terror. if u r not prepared or willing to do that, then solely focus on taking out OBL and the regime who supported him, the taliban.

bush definitely screwed all that up. there was no need to even mention WMD, if we are fighting terrorists and the nations who sponsor terror, well then there is zero need to bring up WMDs.
