But maybe we can get it next year!!!!

With the death of my Father-in-laws wife due to pancreatic cancer a few days ago I really had wish the Tigers had won.. She always rooted for the Detroit teams and her and Cal are big MSU fans.. They had nothing but praise for the University of Michigan hospital but alas it was diagnosed way to late.. Brenda loved her Tigers..

Another story My wife is a phlebotomist for Quest and she does long term care for them going and drawing in Hospital's, dementia wards, veterans facilities, long term care, homes ect, ect, and she drew this little old lady who was 85 before the series started and my wife loved her.. Sweetest lady shes was so excited for the tigers.. She had pictures and Tiger blankets on her bed and told my wife the story that her dad use to take her an her sister and brother to a game or two every year and it was such a big deal..Taking the train and making a day of it.. The twinkle in her eye my wife said remembering a story about her family was priceless..

My wife had to draw her blood again after the series and this lady is sharp as a tack still said "Man the Tigers sure took on on the chin, But there is always next year". Now that my not be the case for Brenda but she fought like a wild cat (She loved cats) for three months and did not want to die until the pain was to great and I know it hurt like heck when the Tigers loss in 2006 and 2012 but I think they are going to win one real soon and I hope we can all share it together.. We have to hope... Hug your loved ones.....

We must have talked right before she passed Bob. Sorry for your families loss.

After posting this morning I will go to the cemetery and wish dad a happy birthday.
I wish his redsox had won in his lifetime.

It's true, Life is fleeting and we get so caught up and day to day stuff. Cherish and hug your loved before you can't anymore.

I hear ya. I lost two uncles this year and I thought they should've been able to still be around to see the Tigers in the WS. Then losing the way they did just added insult to injury.
