Get StartedWe've never won the conference or beat OSU? That's what he's being asked to do. We all know we used to be able to do those things.
We've been close to beating OSU with Harbaugh, but it feels like we are getting farther and farther away from being able to do that.

The Game is basically going dormant. They have recruiting advantages Michigan can't/won't match. Can't keep up with their talent level because of it.
We may be able to even things out once the Power 5 schools finally tell the NCAA to pound sand and go all in on players being able to profit from their likeness. That will level the recruiting playing field and the rivalry may be reborn. Until then, we'll keep losing to OSU 95% of the time.

I know he does, but name one successful skill position player from Michigan in the NFL.I get this point, but look at things from a different angle in terms of recruiting ...
Harbaugh puts kids in the NFL every year. We may not bring in the same 'type' of players as osu, but kids that play for UM and for Harbaugh are going pro as much or moreso than any time I can remember.
I know he does, but name one successful skill position player from Michigan in the NFL.
Not having those guys is a huge disadvantage.

You serious, Clark? Like I forgot Brady. What?s that guy who Plays for Boston?s name again?
He might be...hmmmm...the quarterback, I?m thinking?
There is one guy on that list that is a good pro. He happens to be the GOAT and like I just mentioned, was at Michigan when we actually beat OSU.This is it, folks:
Tom Brady, Jake Butt, Amara Darboh, Devin Funchess, Zach Gentry, Chad Henne.
Jabrill Peppers (including him too)
You serious, Clark? Like I forgot Brady.
However, Brady is from an era when we actually beat OSU.
He wasn't at Michigan when the wheels fell off.

My bad. Dealing with a 3 month old shuts off my smart ass detector from time to time. No, I wasn?t being serious.
I was being a smartass.
It?s obvious it wasn?t what you were talking about.
But it is technically what you asked.
Teed up too perfectly to lay off.
What does that line, ?you serious, Clark?? From? Is it from the TV show with Dean Cain and Terry Hatcher?
EDIT: Just look it up. National Lampoon.
Recruiting really isn't fine. It's ok, but we have major holes. See CB recruiting and DT recruiting.I was just pointing to the fact that recruiting is fine. Byco has made the point about the current state of the rivalry and I agree. Winning 9-11 games under Harbaugh is fine. OSU is SEC-North and the B10 East is the strongest division in any conference, by far.
I know it could be worse. I'm just concerned bc DT and CB are the two most important spots for shutting down offenses these days. We're so thin at those two spots after this year.Doesn?t help to have turnover in coaches/recruiters every year but Partridge is doing well and from a ?rankings? standpoint were solid.
