I wish we took more walks

well I'm saying we won the trade. Don't need anymore years to tell me that. Granderson is just a nice little lefty with enough power to hit 30 for the Yankees. Boesch could do that too.

We won only of you add in Coke.

Just Grandy vs. Ajax is too early to tell, especially since Granderson produced all 3 years since the trade, can we say that about Ajax?

I'd rather have Jackson too, but if you're saying Granderson is just a nice left with power......TROLLOLOL.

um.. yes, that's all i'm saying...want me to add that he's got nice speed? I hope so, cause he's a center fielder. Other wise, he's a strike out king with the bombs at Yankee Stadium

Grandy last year and this year, bad defense. He's becoming a low average power hitter. You could see when he was here in '09, his average will drop like a stone.

And imo, yeah Granderson is a power guy and nothing more.

Granderson has hit 86 HRs with NY. 39 Away (789 PA), 47 at Home (726 PA). While he does get an advantage hitting in Yankee stadium (maybe 2-4 more a year), he still would be the 3rd best HR hitter on this team after Cabrera and Fielder. He still has 30 HR power, with or without Yankee Stadium.

Since 2010 Away

Granderson .252 BAVG .348 OBP .499 SLG .847 OPS 101.19 RC/650 8.77 PA/BB

Jackson .260 BAVG .323 OBP .394 OBP .717 OPS 76.68 RC/650 14.32 PA/BB

Granted, Jackson is having a great year up until now. Let him maintain it through the end of the year and duplicate it again next before we annote him better than Granderson. To date, Granderson has been about 2-3 wins better per year. Granderson is a patient hitter, draws walks, and rarely swings at the first pitch.

Soon, he'll be a .235 hitter with consistent 40 home run power. And his defense has gone to shit. Plus he's older. I'll take AJ.

I miss Granderson but i think getting the younger player Jackson will prove better in the long run.

Unless he ever repeats 2011, and then people start wanting him gone off the team again.

Like I said, it's way too early to say he's better than Granderson.

No it isn't. Watch: AJ is better. See, I said it.
