But Bolton's claiming he resigned...Link.

Bolton, of course, started live tweeting and whining about it on Fox News.

To be fair, firing Bolton is a good thing, but since he hired Bolton in the first place, this has a neutral effect on his overall reputation. And he probably will hire someone nearly as awful to replace Bolton.

He only hires the "best people," and then fires them and throws them under the bus 5 minutes later...

I think when your “approval” rating falls to 36% and your “disapproval” ratings hits 60% panic sets in a bit. Of course the entire administration is one big panic attack combined with turmoil and stupidity.

Another swamp critter firing another swamp critter. The muck that is the Trump administration is a just a scourge on America. Absolutely the worst president America has ever had.

Which is it? Absolutely the worst or he?s going to go give Reagan a run for his money? Logically, it can?t be both.

I'm trying to avoid the 'Well, Trump's an idiot for hiring him' mindset and going with the 'I'm glad that war mongering piece of shit is gone, America is better off today than it was yesterday' mindset.

I'm all about self preservation at this point, this administration is exhausting.

I think more than anything it shows that Trump has no plan, has never had a plan and has no idea what he's doing when it comes to foreign affairs unless Putin directs him ...to our detriment.

Hey that?s not totally fair. He DID have a plan...

... a plan to keep doing fraud and using his shitty hotels and properties to bilk taxpayers dollars & the general public funds, like he has his whole career and continues to do openly.

Not White Vic, still stuck on the disproved Russian collusion narrative...to our detriment.

That deal was struck between Trump and Glasgow Prestwick airport in 2014 - Trump hadn't even decided to run for President by then. Also, the US signed a deal with Glasgow Prestwick airport in 2016, when Obama was President, that would increase the number of US military flights using the airport as a refueling stop. That would be some next level planning and scheming for someone who doesn't have a plan and is just winging it.

So, it's more likely the case that these military personnel see a list of local hotels the Glasgow Prestwick people give them and they notice they can choose from Trump Turnbury or the Glasgow Prestwick airport Marriott or whatever, and of course they're not paying for it so they choose the Trump resort. Maybe they should be investigating the folks that make those decisions and give them guidance on how to choose lodgings, or throw them in jail to send a message to the next crew, whichever you think is more appropriate.

Exactly how do you think this went down? Do you think the White House has a travel consierge at the pentagon, overseeing a massive global operation so he can make sure they book rooms at Trump Turnbury every time a plane refuels at Glasgow Prestwick? Personally, I don't think Trump is bothering to nickel and dime the American taxpayer by having an airforce crew stay at his hotel for a night. I do think you're pretty dumb if you believe this is all part of Trump's grand scheme to bilk the taxpayers a couple hundred dollars at a time. Or maybe it's just an easy way for people who write these stories to get lazy readers to hate Trump or validate the hatred they already have for him. Why let pesky little things like facts get in the way of a good tin foil hat conspiracy, right?

Well even a 'pretty boy' like Reagan knew to surround himself with smart advisers to help in the job. Trump surrounds himself with the cast from The Apprentice and wackos from fringe conservative groups and wonders why he's polling where only 3/10 people like him.

So it seems to me that this is the thing – Trump wants to be the president who brings the troops home from Afghanistan for the purpose of his legacy.

Bolton feels that some U.S. military presence is necessary to prevent Afghanistan from once again becoming a breading ground for Al-Qaeda and terrorism.

Also, Bolton is, needless to stay a strong personality at the least, so there are probably personality clashes between him and Trump.

Good trump shoulda never hired him in the first damn place and damit woulda been good if they hadn’t railroaded Flynn and he’d still be the national Security adviser! what they did to him was just wrong..bastards
