Call me crazy, but I have a gut feeling that Scherzer and Fister will be lights out in games 6 and 7...we've seen these starters once now and hopefully have made some adjustments, I still feel like this offense can break out big and start rolling...and I have a hunch Leyland won't be so quick to rule JV out of a game 7 situation this time around...

Sure how you're right. I feel good if we win today as well and even with Fister game 7 - 3 wins in a row with two in their park is tough. But I hope it happens. I have faith.

Nah. I once had a gut feeling that rick perry would get mercifully lodged in between a wall and a crashing 700-pound crate of hot piss. I don't trust gut feelings any more.

I hope we both turn out to be right, but it gets harder and harder to believe.

I think we are beginning to show that we can match them long ball for long ball. The second tier guys are doing so well perhaps we could play Raburn in center so the lead off man for the Tigers is not Dr. K-instein! Save action Jackson for the late innings if a base runner is needed. Tigers acting like a team....and that is the pre-requisite for being a team of destiny.

If you sit aj maybo go Dirks in center. Not sure I want anyone else there certainly not Raburn.

Our bats have come alive and we may be able to jump all over the Rangers starting pitching in games 6 and 7. Would be nice to put a 10 spot up in game 6. If Max can give us 6 strong, the Rangers will start to feel the pressure if they aren't already.

Yeah, we're all hoping that the Tigers can begin Game 6 with some quick runs off Holland, shushing the crowd and helping Scherzer's pitching with a lead early.

The pressure is all on Texas now to close it out in front of the home crowd in game 6...after that the pressure is equal in game 7, maybe even a little less for the Tigers since they were left for dead on Wednesday...

I agree. Obviously tomorrow is huge but if it goes Detroit's way, the pressure is back on Texas. Detroit has the advantage game 7.

I'm just glad the team didn't mail it in yesterday. They still think they can win the series, and I do too.

BTW, if they DO pull this off I expect big Karma from everybody for this thread. :) Just gonna throw that out there...
