I hope this hasn't been brought up yet, I scanned the threads and I don't see a title referencing this so....

Since the Fister trade, he has actually given up significantly less runs than Verlander has for Detroit.

Fister has started 9 games going 62.1 innings and gave up only 14 runs (2 in Sept) http://mlb.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=450729#sectionType=gameLog&statType=2&season=2011&gameType='R'

Verlander has started 10 games going 69.3 innings but gave up 22 runs http://mlb.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=434378#sectionType=gameLog&statType=2&season=2011&gameType='R'

It is a shame this guy wasted half a season in Seatle.

That's not surprising.

He has had an insane K/BB since coming over here.

A solid #2 and under team control for a few more seasons.

Great trade by DD.

I want to go on record, right now, seriously guys...I'm a little bit happy that we got Fister.

He's been better than average.
