Yes and the Dem nominee will be painted as a bleeding-heart liberal, baby killer, wants to take all yer guns, socialist, government controlling your life, etc.

Never heard that one. But they definitely come two for the price of one. One or the other adopted the phrase insofar as their polical career is concerned. Perhaps you missed that.

I think Hillary Clinton was using that phrase when Bill Clinton was seeking the democratic nomination for president.

Of course their supporters were using that phrase too.

I don't know whether or not that began earlier in Arkansas, but it would seem that it probably likely would have.

EDIT: this was, as I recall, in response to former California Governor Jerry Brown's, Who himself was seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, accusations that Hillary Clinton had exerted an inappropriate amount of influence as the first lady of Arkansas.
