In this case you clearly don't know the cause of death but that doesn't stop you from accusing the government of Israel of killing Palestinian official. Based on your thread title, you'd think he was killed by rocket while eating breakfast in his kitchen. For all we know, the guy could have died of a heart atack. But you look at one quote from a Palestinian who said they were tear gassed for no reason (surprise, surprise, a protester says they weren't doing anything wrong) and conclude he was killed by the Israeli government - because you're an anti-semite - just admit it and move on.

Well, the quote was actually from an Israeli citizen who organized the protest, not a Palestinian.

I did Model UN in HS and for the big 'tournament' our team was Israel.

There were some kids from a Detroit area HS who were Palestine but who were in reality, of Iranian descent. During the General Session debate thing, the delegate from Palestine made some remark about "scum sucking Israelis" ...

During my rebuttal I said, "I won't insult the integrity of this body by telling you what Palestinians suck" and walked away from the podium.


It almost caused a full on real fight as the "Palestinians" were genuinely upset and there were a couple full on bouts of laughter from some in the crowd who, being from the Bloomfield area, were of Jewish heritage.

The teacher moderator of the forum asked me to apologize to the "Palestinians" which I did and one of the kids and I became good friends that extended through college in A2.

There is no end to this conflict coming any time soon...
