it's hitting the fan

I am not convinced that because there are breaches of privacy that occur (from data theft to the outright massive surveillance revealed by these disclosures and prior ones), privacy itself is a fallacy and it's not worth fighting for legal and technological protections to it.

zyxt's rambling, incoherent, mistake-ridden rant has failed to persuade me. surprise.

Has anyone been able to persuade you, ever?

Has anyone been able to persuade you, ever?

yes, but they're typically brilliant and I read them in books, not on here.

Death Roh convinced me I was wrong about Trey Burke last year. so there's one.

I just like the fact that theres people that dont even know how many states our country has but preech about constitutional rights. You have the right to get an education too! Why in the world would anyone think that a set of laws that were made hundreds of years before the internet even existed should hold up now?...ppl that think like that are ignorant imo.

A person has constitutional rights whether or not they know how many states there are, so that little point is both irrelevant and silly.

And I think people who think every set of laws in constitution are hundreds of years old are the ignorant ones.

I persuaded MichChamp to drive up from Disneyland with his lady (now his wife) to meet me and my wife in Hollywood for a cocktail.

It really wasn't that difficult.

Many that I have seen here have convinced champ that they are idiots. So there are probably many easy things to convince him of.

Now if you mean convinced him that you are right? Well that is another story entirely.

Well, I gave him the right directions, at least...

People that know the government has the technology to do what theyre doing and think they wouldnt use it...are ignorant. Thatd be like a 1 and done NBA rookie taking all his money and putting it into the savings......not gonna happen.

it doesn't matter whether i persuade you, what matters is whether those who feel violated can persuade the courts. good luck with that.

Yeah, tell that to the pro-life people.

Not always so simple Mitch. A rape victim has a small chance of getting impregnated, but it has happened. She had no choice in the rape, I will be damned if she doesn't deserve the choice to have the baby or not.

Then there are a small percent who have to choose who will live, the mother or the baby. I've seen different women make each choice in thay situation.

Life and death are not black and white, people deserve the right to choose the path they wish to follow. Their choice should not be discarded when everyone else in the world is merely a bystander and they are the only ones who can travel whichever path they choose.
