only 115,000 jobs added for April...yet the Unemployment rate drops to 8.1% because 342,000 just disappeared from the job rolls

Job creation has been averaging 150,000 over the last 12 months, pretty bad for an economy 24-36 months into its recovery.
It takes 175,000/mo just to sustain normal job growth.

yeah it sucks. it's bad enough we have a democrat in office and still can't get the fiscal stimulus & interest rate treatment necessary to spur investment and jobs growth.

best bet: Green Party, Communist Party poll well enough in November that the powers that be decide they need to let a little more "trickle down" before the rabble start to really make a stink.

voting for dems and CERTAINLY not for the tax-cut, spending cut, no-regulation, no gov't GOP is not going to cut it.

Well that's a good thing that we've averaged 176,000 jobs added a month over the last 3 then. February was adjusted up to 259,000 from 240,000, March was adjusted up to 154,000 from 120,000, those are good things, but 115,000 this month is bad news. The rate dropped to 8.1%, but that was because people left the job market.

Bad numbers this month, but not terrible unless they worsen in May and June. Still a hell of a lot better than losing 850,000 jobs a month.

better question is where are the job creators??! We gave them all these breaks for all these years.....OHHHHhhhhh....thats right.....they took their money and fled the country and gave all the jobs to little chinese boys. Thank you Gdubs!

you seriously think were in a recovery?? It will get much worse and will have nothing to do with Obama being in office.

3 years after the recession was officially over...
It has everything to do with Obama......he sucks, over regulated, anti-business president in the history of this country.

Jeff Immelt, Obama job guru and head of GE, paid no taxes and made Billions, tens of thousand of jobs created by GE....outside of this country

So you think that the (a) President has a magic wand he can just wave and create 400,000 jobs out of thin air?

Man you have some loose screws.

Then why is there significant job growth in the private sector? Most of the losses come from the public sector.

A 10 second google trip where you type in "private sector verses public sector job creation" will get you the info.

turns out they need even MORE tax breaks and less regulation.

if they can't crank out pure smog and dump mercury into our backyards without ever having to pay the costs of it and the damage to the environment... IT'S COMMUNISM!!!

Which regulation of Obama's do you think is hurting US job growth the most?

Weird, I just tried searching for something on Google and got a message saying their servers were down due to over use. Now I know why...

There are no companies lol....Theyre gone. We manufacture nothing in this country. We export nothing in this country. Our only saving grace might be energy in the upcomming years which has promise. We have nothing else.
