Bush tax cuts generated less than 5% unemployment...Obama policies have lead to Millions not having jobs.... Bush worst deficit was $400 Billion under his tax cuts...what's Barry's excuse?? same tax cuts

They also killed the revenue stream.

Which policies are you referring to?

The deficit has been in a downward spiral ever since Bush was in office.....that IS barrys excuse. If he could create a time machine to go back and fix everything bush jacked up in this country im sure he would....but we all know Congress wouldnt allow that to happen!

OK. That's fine. The energy economy is going to change and we don't want to be foot draggers on this front. Regulating old energy tech is the kind of temporary pain that will pay off in the future. I'm good with it.

revenues skyrocket to the govt??? during the republican control 2003-2007...states were overflowing with money...and they sure spent it, along with the US Govt

right... coal plants have been closing.

that's why a large part of the country just has no electricity anymore. and it's all the EPA's vote, but only because a democrat is in office. if Romney gets elected, pollute away. coal plants in every back yard.

man, I remember 2001-2009 like it was just an amazing time to be alive... it was a tropical paradise. real Garden of Eden stuff.

then it all changed, because Americans foolishly elected a democrat. they were all completely content, and there were no problems, but NOPE, they decided to change and vote out the GOP in 2008, even though everything was just peachy...

Ofcourse Mitt had to chime in on Barry actually creating jobs last month. I can imagine his 4% unemployment and 500,000 jobs per month will be hard to explain considering he spent his entire life making money off of putting people out of work. What a dipshit lol. By the way if i was president id have .2% unemployment and created 1 million jobs a month....gee....it sure is easy to throw out a bunch of BS numbers you dont have to live up to.

......Romney’s job creation goal: 4 percent unemployment and 500,000 jobs per month

Mitt Romney (Jae C. Hong/AP)Mitt Romney slammed President Obama over a new labor report Friday that found the economy had added just 115,000 jobs last month, suggesting the country's 8.1 percent unemployment is "not a cause for celebration."

But in using the numbers to attack Obama's handling of the economy, Romney also revealed some potentially troublesome benchmarks for what job creation would look like if he were elected to the White House.

Speaking at a concrete company outside Pittsburgh, Romney trashed the news from the April jobs report. While he noted that the country's 8.1 percent unemployment rate was actually down slightly from March, the presumptive Republican nominee pointed out that was because many people had given up looking for work.

"Just this morning there was some news that came across the wire that said that the unemployment rate has dropped to 8.1 percent and normally that would be cause for celebration, but, in fact, anything over 8 percent, anything near 8 percent anything over 4 percent is not cause for celebration," Romney declared.

[Related: In listless April jobs figures, Obama plays up 'good news']

But Romney's embrace of the 4 percent metric could be problematic. The last time the country's unemployment rate was that low was in December 2000.

But that's not the only benchmark Romney set today. In an interview on Fox News, Romney suggested the country should be seeing a growth of 500,000 jobs per month—nearly four times the job growth numbers the country experienced last month.

"We should be seeing numbers in the 500,000 jobs created per month," Romney told Fox News. "This is way, way, way off from what should happen in a normal recovery. … This is not progress. This is very, very disappointing."

But as the New York Times' Peter Baker points out, the country has met that level of job creation in a single month just five times in the last 50 years—including just once each under Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.

Right on, they should just get rid of all regulations.

Let the pollution kill off some of the population, they were probably going to vote D anyway.

No they elected Dems in Nov. 2006.....then it slowly started going downhill when Harry & Nancy were running the show

before you shut down over 50% of our electrical supply, have a plan to replace it. Wind/Solar cant even supply 2%

what taxes were raised??? LOL it was revenues like capital gains

they were lowered...thats my point. When you lower taxes you bring less revenue in to pay things off...like debt. Its very simple economics. We bring no money in and we spend a shit load too much. Its been going on WAYYYYYY before Obama.....and now all of a sudden its an issue because a black muslim with no birth certificate is in office instead of a white douchebag that comes from oil.

So then why aren't you blaming Boehner and Cantor now, instead of Obama?

Since clearly it wasn't Bush's fault back then, it can't be Obama's now.

Can't have your cake and eat it too sport.

They've passed great legislation and sent it to Harry Reid where he will not bring it up or the dems voted it down....
you do understand how the government works dont ya. The house isnt the only branch of gov't.
But, when you control both houses(with super majority numbers) you can pass anything you want) Barry has no excuses, except the fact he is a failure of epic proportions
