Only 69, too bad. He was a favorite of mine back in my early days. RIP.

Had a like-dislike feel about the Raiders and Stabler. Some of the finest NFL drama was created by he and his offense. Seems he NEEDED to expend all the time outs and start inside his own 20 with under 2:00 to play to get moving on a comeback.
