Division 5 Football semifinals
Note : Last years Champs in d5 is in the d4 semifinals this year (Unity Christian). so d5 will have a new champion this year. LCC beat Portland and that is good enough for me. But then Kingsley smashed Muskegon Oakridge which was a surprise to me. Almont and Detroit Denby i think have never made the finals. I think the winner comes from the game in Greenville.

At Greenville Saturday November 23rd 1:00 pm
Lansing Catholic (11-1) 78.000 at Kingsley (12-0) 94.222.

LCC 28 Kingsley 14 Final

At Walled Lake Central Saturday November 23rd 1:00 Pm.
Detroit Denby (10-2) 76.889 at Almont (12-0) 90.667.

Almont 36 Detroit Denny 8 Final.

Division 5 Championship. Preview enrollment in (parentheses)

Saturday November 30th, 4:30 pm

Private (520)Lansing Catholic Central (12-1) vs Public (514) Almont (13-0).

Undefeated Almont points for and against this year are 536-131. They have 3 shutouts and 4 games of 10 points or under. Since 1950 they are 378-249-9 with 10 playoff years in a row and 13 of the last 14 seasons.
I see zero championship games in the past.

LCC is 12-1 this year and 306-181-1 since 1970. This year they have scored 518 while allowing 172. They have 2 shutouts and 1 other games in which they held the other team at 10. LCC is 1-2 in title games winning the class C in 1985 and losing the next two in d5.

I could be wrong here as it looks to me that LCC plays much tougher teams .

Almont -5
