Leading the NFCN

Be realistic. Every team is dealing with injuries, none more than the best 2 teams in our division. The only thing exciting about the Lions is Stafford. Without him this team is the Browns. I think Quin is doing a good job though, and I'm excited about the future. But your disgusting optimism always makes me think things are gonna go south.

I was going to say our K. He's been clutch.

Really? Matt Stafford hasn't been on this team until this year? Riley Reiff? Golden Tate? These are 53 new players and a whole new coaching staff that have never taken the field before with the Lions, and therefore we have no history to help make our judgments with?

That's news to me.

Ok. The 5-3 finish under caldwell in 2014 with those players for 11-5

Or the 6-2 finish last year.

Whch would you prefer

Caldwell teams and lions have finished strong.

Schwartz teams shit themselves. Mainly because of turnovers. Lions are great at protecting the ball this year.

Only 2 fumbles. Really great job. Only 5 picks. This team protects ball very well. 2012 and 2013 were turnover prone

Caldwell, Schwartz, Monty Clark - can anyone get us a playoff win?

Even if Abdullah wouldn't be ready til week 13 or so, he's still a bigger asset to the team, imo

I agree AA is much more important to the team than Bostic, but that is why I am hesitant to bring him back this season. Foot injuries are finicky things, and are especially troubling for a shifty RB like Abdullah. Hes less than 2 months removed from surgery, and id rather they give him 10+ months to heal, than bring him back early and potentially cause more damage.

Theo Riddick isn't nearly as good of a pure runner as AA, but he will be more than serviceable for the rest of the season.

I never chalked it up to bad luck. Ref incompetence is a very real thing with very specific examples that i give.

Luck is a general bullshit term

Lions in great shape. Finish strong

coming from the guy that blamed the sun in arizona for the reason we missed a game winning kick one year lmao.

That's kinda what I was looking for. A good reason not to bring him back, and just shut him down for the year. I agree. Seems like the Lions were/are holding out on activating Bostic and shutting AA down just in case there's a chance AA can come back though.

All I I know is 5 weeks ago we were in last place and chasing an undefeated Vikings team and now, just 5 weeks later, we're in first place in the division...albeit a bad one this year but we're in first place. I'll take it...whatever the reason.

Outside of the unicorn, nobody is calling these guys the Ravens of the late 90's/early '00's. Give these guys credit for stiffening up when they need to... especially with some of the injuries our squad has had to deal with.

The Unicorn = +10 for you.

I'm thinking Abdullah might be who comes off the ir.
