There seems to be two types of fans here.. Ones that are critical of managers, players and certain decisions in general, and others that snap at most people for questioning anything.. Yes I think we should be all proud of this season in general, but I get the feeling we could have done more being so close.. I don't think we should take anything for granted, and if they lose I don't think it's bad to looks at what the Tigers could have done to further themselves this season.. All I'll say about that..

There are more then 2 types.

I don't have a problem with people ripping on managers or coaches, I do it myself.

But lately there has been a lot of hate directed at people like Cabrera, and Avila, and others who have done great jobs all season, but have not been good so far.

So we hear people call Cabrera "fatass" (I'm pointing at you justinrose), or say avila should be benched (several of you).

What we really have is people who take their frustrations out emotionally on this board, and ones who are less emotional.

Sometimes my problem is I bitch too much at all the bitching.

I call Cabrera fatass.. I think he deserves a ripping.. He is the top money player on the team and most talented and he should be performing better.. And also, it's a fact that he's a fatass LOL!!! I like to balance out ripping on players and managers when I can... I think when something isn't going right it's usual a combination of things and nothing is black and white.. I think it's a combination of bad decisions, bad hitting and even bad fielding.. You could even make the case that pitching has been bad in spots as well(although for the most part it's been great).. Like the 0-2 Pitch from Porcello in the 5th..

Jim and his staff had a really bad game today and not that great a series... I give alex a pass because management in its wisdom decided to push him without much rest and he is spent. There just has to be better in game decisions on certain plays... Holy crap everyone that ever played would have been thrown out by Cruz tonight. Jim is a good manager just not a really great one. I mean 7-10 throws to first to keep Elvis there. Who the fuck cares there were two outs get out of the inning and concentrate on Young. Walking Beltre is stupid... Napoli is only a 9% DP candidate. and Adrian can't even run or swing very good right now..

Lamont and McClendon have to go... How many times have we failed with a runner on third and less then two outs..

You pinch hit for Young... Heck even though Young never bunts i would have respected a squeeze try with young more then sending Miguel on a medium fly..

I know we had only 5 hits as our hitting has left us all post season but Jim has to win this game for his team... He has to make a difference.. Man do we need a bullpen guy like Zumaya...

He is the least of our worries. There is a reason Washington intentionally walked Cabrera with 1 out in the 8th and none on.

You're right.. He has recovered this series and has been on fire the last two games, but I think prior to that it was somewhat warranted..

Just maybe can get a great Verlander start on Thursday and send it back to Texas for game Six.. I mean Max and Doug have been better then Justin this post season. You never know win two games and then roll the dice in game seven ...It would be fun to see Justin pitch a complete game and then in game six we dropped a 5 spot in the first inning of game six... Be fun to see Texas have to grip a bit...

i cant really defend avilas plate appearances during the playoffs. Its not just the fact that hes striking out 50% of the time or that he has like 2 hits in 2 series. Its the frikken balls hes swinging at.....Theyre not even close. Young on the rangers is having just as horrid an offseason...but atleast that dude is making contact. He just looks beat up....
