Thank you, finally! I don't have ANY idea why this had to be some big freaking secret. News typically comes out with any injury in like 2, 3 days at the latest, whether it be a sprained ankle or ACL tear.

Ya seems silly that this would have been such a secret. This makes me question even further why they didn't immediately put Levy on IR. Meniscus tears take roughly 3 Months to fully recover, so why be all secretive and overly coy with the information on him? Releasing a statement and putting Levy on IR would have saved Caldwell a lot of headache by not needing to answer questions about him every week, and perhaps more importantly it would have kept Levy from getting villified by fans who thought had re injured his quad and might not play ever again. This was handled terribly by the organization.

Top to bottom, handled horribly. His whole "I'm not saying crap about injuries" policy is foolish in this case.

Torn meniscus, will be out 3 months. Ends any concern about his timeline and speculation. Instead, he kept dangling and dangling the carrot and let Levy write obscure articles about how he's scared about his future in football.

And I still think he's going to play maybe 1 more year, if at all.

I haven't seen anything saying Abdullah is a long shot. Foot was said to be structurally sound a month ago.
