Taylor Lewan has a press conference set for 6pm tonight to announce he is going pro, er....I mean to announce whether he is staying or going pro that is.

Edit: Mmmmmm....this crow is tasty!!

He already said on Twitter he was back in Michigan and leaving on Thursday. Like we have known all along, he is gone.

These athletes are sooo important that they deserve press conferences to announce decisions... It's ridiculous. Drama queens!

Yeah. what a showboat. WHy not just mention it right after the bowl game? dickmove

Why is it necessary to have a press conference? Why can't he just say he is going to go to the pros and leave it at that rather than trying to create some kind of drama?

As far as I am concerned, if he stays great and if he goes best wishes for his future.

No, shit, Tinsel. Maybe he should just announce right before tip-off for the basketball game. Hell! He'd even have a crowd to pander to. Of course, when he announces that he's going pro, that might go over too well and they're playing Nebraska, so there will probably be some empty seats on a cold wednesday in January.

Of course, Lewan's been a goof for 4 years, so why expect anything different?

Who knows how this turned into a press conference? I see no problem with wanting to tell your team first at some time after the last game. With the media hounding you for an answer, that approach could easily turn into a press conference whether you want one or not.

this is stupid, however, if he conducts his presser in a way so as to mock Lebron's "Decision," I will change my mind. either way, I wish him well. hope he's entertaining in those player introductions for Monday Night Football.

hes not even the top rated LT....and hes holding a press conference? lol. dude....just hop on twitter and take the 5 seonds to make your announcement......thats all the attention it deserves.

they do it for hype in hopes it improves position on draft day

sux, but that is reason for PC...stupid as it seems to fans

I'd like to hold a press 'conference' so I can make one statement...

Didn't wheatley announce on ESPN that he was staying his final year? My dad was a sparty and convined me that he would leave. I remember the anticipation for that was crazy.

there have been plenty of press conferences where players announced they were staying.
