Lightning 4 Red Wings 1 Final

Wings are 5 points behind third place Boston but Florida and tampa bay are also ahead of them and a whopping 9 points behind the wildcard. Looks like the 25 year streak is in real jeopardy and while a agree with everyone and we need higher picks i do think the streak is pretty darn nifty.

Both Bishop and Howard hurt during the game tonight. Howards looks serious as he could not out any weight on his leg coming off the ice.

Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard injured at Tampa Bay.

Howard had two players fall on him, could barely move of own accord as helped off.
Howard, the MVP of the Detroit Red Wings? season so far, was injured during a scrum in his crease at Amalie Arena, when both teammate Nick Jensen and Tampa Bay forward Erik Condra fell on top of Howard at 5:39 of the second period.
Howard barely moved his own feet as he left, and had trainers help him to the room. He could not put any weight on his right leg.
An update was not immediately available.

Tampa is 2-6-2 last ten. Yes the wings are sadly awful.
